    GYM CIRCUIT (10:00am Monday and Thursday - 55 mins)

    WHAT: Gentle group exercise class using gym equipment

    WHERE: Fitness Centre

    WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable workout clothes and footwear, drink bottle and towel

    FITNESS LEVEL: Ideal for people new to exercise or rehabilitating from injury

    INTENSITY: Low to Moderate

    BENEFITS: Strengthens, improves muscle tone and aerobic fitness

    COST: $4.50 or $2.50 with Green Prescription Card

    This class incorporates light cardio to warm up followed by resistance exercise machines and floor exercises.  Finish with cardio and stretches.

    CIRCUIT BLAST (5:30pm Monday and Thursday - 55 mins)

    WHAT: Gentle exercise class set to music that alternates cardio fitness with a variety of exercise stations.

    WHERE: A.W Parsons Stadium

    WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable workout clothes and footwear, drink bottle and towel

    FITNESS LEVEL: All levels

    INTENSITY: Medium to High

    BENEFITS: Burn lots of calories while rapidly improving muscular strength and cardiovascular condition

    COST: $2.00, Gym Members Free

    Join Gareth and Gail as they guide you through a dynamic warm up routine before combining bursts of cardio fitness with exercise stations that target the legs, core muscles, upper body strength as well as plyometric exercises.  Class finishes with slow cardio and stretches.

    YOGA (12 noon and 5:30pm Monday, 12 noon Friday  - 45 mins)

    WHAT: Dynamic Yoga based stretching program that leaves you feeling centred and calm

    WHERE: Upstairs room of the A.W. Parsons Stadium

    WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable workout clothes, your own yoga mat if you wish, towel and drink bottle

    FITNESS LEVELS: All levels

    INTENSITY: Low

    BENEFITS: Research shows that yoga can help manage or control anxiety, back pain, blood pressure, chronic fatigue, depression, stress and other conditions

    COST: $6.00. gym members free

    Join Ann, Julie, and Debbie as they take you through various yoga poses coupled with controlled breathing exercises to strengthen and tone your muscles while improving posture, balance, suppleness, and flexibility.  This class is a holistic workout that brings body, mind and soul into a state of balance and harmony.

    SPINNING (Bookings essential - see reception for class timetable and available spaces - 45 mins)

    WHAT: Group cycling class using stationary Spinner bikes

    WHERE: Upstairs room of the A.W Parsons Stadium

    WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable workout clothes, cycling shorts and shoes if you wish, towel and drink bottle

    FITNESS LEVEL: Beginner to advanced

    INTENSITY: Medium to High

    BENEFITS: Torch an average of 500 calories per 45 minute ride.  Improve heart and lung fitness, strength and endurance.

    Cost: $10.50, Gym Members $6.50

    Let Ann guide you through one of the most popular workouts in the world.  Spinning is a fun and effective journey choreographed to energising music and visualisation, incorporating riding positions, varying resistance levels and speeds while in a motivating group setting.

    CARDIAC AND PULMONARY CLUB (10am Tuesday & Thursday - 45 mins)

    WHAT: Exercise program for anyone who has had heart surgery, lung problems or is specifically at risk

    WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable workout clothes and footwear, drink bottle and towel

    FITNESS LEVEL: Beginner

    INTENSITY: Low

    BENEFITS: Improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health

    COST: $2.00

    This gentle exercise program is an important part of any cardiac rehabilitation program designed to help improve and maintain cardiovascular health in a supervised and supportive environment.  Education is also provided by qualified nurses and therapists.
